It would be nice to see the products in deals in reports and insight

    There are reports on products or are you looking for a specific report?

    Hello Mike, thanks for your response. This report is nice for a sales manager to follow the sales. But we mis a report or listview to have an insight which products are involved in which deals and with deals are connected to which product. There is a list at product level but not all products involved in the deals. Please also arrange workflow with products and deals. Thanks

    Hello Mike, thanks for your response. This report is nice for a sales manager to follow the sales. But we mis a report or listview to have an insight which products are involved in which deals and with deals are connected to which product. There is a list at product level but not all products involved in the deals. Please also arrange workflow with products and deals. Thanks

     

    @Frits Strating so you'd like to be able to see per product what deals it is linked to, and the other way around see in the deal list view what products are linked to the individual deals?

    Will pass on your suggestion on products in workflow ;)

    I agree with this.....you can list things by products, but you cannot run any reports or insights of this. We were able to work around this using a custom field. If you are going to have the Product feature, you need to be able to see information on the products in the insights reports.

    I agree with this.....you can list things by products, but you cannot run any reports or insights of this. We were able to work around this using a custom field. If you are going to have the Product feature, you need to be able to see information on the products in the insights reports. 

    Thanks @Scott Ochander happy to pass on your feedback to the team. What kind of insights would you want to see in the reports so that I can clarify this to our team?

    We need to be able to run a filter in the Deal List view, see a range of deals based on your fillter and see the products, colours (or other product information) and Quantiy of each colour for each deal. Otherwise our Sales Team have no report this to management or to use this information to manage stock and forecast Product requirement for upcoming sales. Seeing this with the Deal custom fields is important as it shows sales stages as well as dates of requirement etc.

    Hi @Georgia thanks for chiming in. It's still in our plans to improve how we report on products on the insights reporting feature. The team is working hard on that as well as delivering other improvements there over the coming weeks/months.

    Hi @Mike van der Valk  do you know  if the insights reporting will be exportable or have more information available. It seems very limited at the moment, and more of an oversight, than showing in depth information such as what products are in Deals along with other custom fields from Deals that would make reporting very useful. Thanks!

    Hi @Georgia as with anything in software, it's a constant development process. Our team has plans to make the insights exportable, more fields available and add product reporting. This won't be done next week but will be a continues process. Good to know however, is that we're on it and keen to add more value for you and your team with every update we're doing.

    Totally would benefit from this too! That way we can measure which products are sold when - when creating an insight chart by month! So X-axis would be products and Y-axis would be month (or vice-versa) Would love to see this innovation! Thanks for working hard
