How to import companies/Leads without contacts

Hello Folks, 

I have a list of companies to contact, but not the details of the contact persons for all the companies. I would like to import that data in order to contact the companies and go further from there. But when importing the file without contact persons are not imported. Is there a work around on this?

    I found the solution to this question myself. 
    Split the list in 2 parts, the one with and the one without the contact persons. The one without contact persons make sure not to link any contact related fields so phone and mail etc must be at company level. 

    That way the companies are imported without a contact attached to it.
