Bulk add activities to list of contacts.

I just started using Pipedrive in my new BDE role.  After experimenting with the bulk email sends, I want to make sure all of these same contacts are then entering into a new activity once that first email has sent out.  Is there a way to bulk add activities to groups of contacts?  Thanks!

    1. Create an automation rule for the 'deal/contact updated' trigger.
    2. Add a condition for a custom field to have been updated.
    3. Create an activity.
    4. Then, update the custom field for all the contacts you want this to happen.

    I was wondering if there are situations where you just want to create activities in bulk for contacts? As opposed to it being part of a sequence of actions like you described: email sent > create activity (which can be addressed via workflow automations)

    Yes that method would work as well.

    Amit, this method is not allowing the activities to show up under the appropriate contact.  It is only creating the activity, but not assigning it to anyone.  How do I change that?

    You need to link the activity to the right deal, contact, org.

    Hi Lucas

    I may be able to help. When you say 'bulk email sends', which bit of functionality are you referring to there? Are you:

    • Using the Campaigns features?
    • Using the Sales Inbox feature to send 1 email to multiple recipients?
    • Doing something else..?

    Hey Adam, I'm currently using the bulk send feature by filtering my contacts to make sure I'm sending the correct email out.  We do not utilize the campaign feature but will be looking into that soon.
