Activity timeline 'manipulation'

It would be great if any post-dated activity entries could appear in the timeline on the date they occurred.

For context, I'd been handed several accounts to manage BEFORE having been provided with my Pipedrive credentials, so I wanted to add in activities (calls, notes, emails etc) on the dates they occurred, hoping they would then appear in the timeline in date order. Unfortunately any new entries are added at the top of the timeline, regardless of the date entered.

Separately, there may also be occasions where you forget to add in calls / call notes (for example) and other activities happen in the meantime. When you eventually add in the forgotten call / call notes, the timeline would be jumbled!

This would really help other team members gain a quick understanding of the present situation regarding specific organisations / deals, and ensure important milestones / correspondence aren't missed.

    Hi George! 

    Not really sure what you mean in this case. Are you checking these from Contacts Timeline? These activities there are still displayed based on set due date, even if due date is set to past. 

    In this case, I think it would be best to check with our official Support team via in-app chat or email [email protected] so they could check exact activities on your account and advise what is possible.

    Hi there,

    No, I'm referring to the right hand side of any given Organisation or Deal view, where it shows a timeline of all related activities.

    If I forgot to add a call, for example, and added it a day or more later, it would appear at the top of the timeline as the 'most recent' activity, ahead of any additional activities that had happened since. What I'm suggesting is that if I dated the call appropriately, it would be useful if that call landed in the appropriate place in the timeline.
