For companies with many users: Would it be helpful to you to have an internal message board or note system inside Pipedrive instead of having to emailing questions or responses?

Can you explain further what you are envisioning? Why not leave the notes on each deal?

We do use the note system extensively, but it doesn't notify anyone that a new note is in the system.
So for our sales team, they start the order process but hand off the rest of the work and the follow-through up to delivery to their admins. It's not a deal breaker but when the order is started by sales and placed in pipedrive for the admins to take over, the only way to notify the admins is to email them. Yes, the admins could look in the pipe periodically to see new deals but we'd like them to move on new orders immediately as part of our customer service. I have an automation set up that currently emails them that something new is in the pipe for them and it works, but it also clutters up the email and they already have hundreds of emails flying back and forth between sales, vendors, customers, etc. Just thought having an internal note system that could serve as a notification system might be handy.

If it's being handed off to a new department why not make a new stage and have your admins in charge of emptying that bucket.

Also activities I would imagine could come into play. Do you use them?

We use a designated pipeline with several stages for order process. I have built some automation inside these various stages and one of these is to email the admin automatically when a new order has been placed in the initial stage. Again, the admins have lots and lots of emails flowing every day and the email notification works okay, I was just thinking that an internal messaging system inside pipedrive that pops up like the "sales assistant" or a note inside pipedive that pops up directly to a specific admin would be an easy and visible cue to take action.

Great discussion here, just wanted to throw in that we're beta testing @-mentions in notes, check it out here: https://community.pipedrive.com/group/mentions-beta-testing

Yeah...sending a message to anther user and tagging them so they are notified. This is a must. Is there an add on for this?
