Fonts in emails are discussed here in many places. Some of it is outright duplicates, some is queries about features that already work. I'm putting a list of what I've found here. The community managers like e.g. @Inês Batata @Manuel Oliveira should somehow moderate, link and clean this up.

I don't want to add another discussion thread. I don't play with fonts, colors and sizes. My problem is the opposite: by default Pipedrive adds a font size definition. Specifically, Pipedrive slips the definition in there:

    style="font-size:14px;line-height:20px"

So you can't write a plaintext email. Pipedrive hardcodes the font-size and line-height. As a result, for example in Gmail you suddenly have an email sent with Pipedrive written in a larger font.

    Please Pipedrive:

Remove this hardcoded font size and line height definition by default.

Once you add the option to define your own default font (as everyone here has been asking for a long time!), also allow to choose nothing (or at most serif / sans serif without having to define a font-size). Thus, use the default settings of the email client.

It looks that is quite old issue? Did they fix it already? It so annoying to change font every time (as well as size). @Pipedriveadmin - Can we expect that improvement soon?

    Just adding a:

YES please allow us to change the default font!

It is incredibly annoying and time consuming (and Pipedrive is designed to help us SAVE time, right?) to have to change the font with every email. It really is crucial to brand. Ideally, we could install fonts other than the ones listed as well. For example, I use Avenir on all my documents. It would be wonderful to use that.

But at the very least, I would like to have Georgia be a default font for email.

possibility to set another lettertype standard in my emails. Now is always gets back to Arial and I want to use Georgia as a standard.

Yes. We would like to open a new email / reply to an email and just start typing. Having to adjust fonts and sizes each time is counter-productive.

    Would also appreciate that!

I would love to see an update to Pipedrive so users can choose a default font style and font size for emails.

One of my client also asked for a default font.

She usually uses 1 particular font for her brand and she would like Pipedrive to keep that font whenever she is sending a new email with or without email templates

Please! As others have mentioned, being able to set a default font other than arial will enable organisations to adhere to their brand guidelines and maintain these across platforms. It is such an inconvenience having to change the font for every email being sent, especially with multiple users where this change may be forgotten!

Are there any updates on the option for each user to set a default font? This feature is essential.

Any news then? Would like this feature as when you are sending multiple emails per day, manually changing the font is annoying and time consuming.

I agree, this is total pain in the backside, but I have found a hack.

If you create your email signature in the font you prefer, then above it right Hi, (or whatever you chose) so it looks something like this…

    Hi,

Next time you create a new email, simply start writing directly after the word Hi, and Pipedrive will automatically apply the correct CSS and the email body will be as you like.

Do we have an official response from Pipedrive on this default fault selection issue? This is a critical feature that many users find essential. We would really like to see that this is being actively addressed and preferably receive a timeline for a solution.
