Custom Colors in Insight Reports
The insight reports can be customized to show a lot of helpful information. One issue I have found is that I can run 2 reports involving similar data, and the colors for the categories change from report to report. I would love to be able to assign certain colors to certain sales people, products, etc.....so that there could be some uniformity when viewing insight reports.

Hi,
Is there a way to set owner's color to make report more readable and avoid this color to change between two consecutive graphics ?0 -
No, there is no way to change the colors.

Please make this a PO. Otherwise it makes reporting more cumbersome and less effective when sharing this with stakeholders

Hi @Scott Ochander , we're happy to hear you're enjoying the Insights feature! It's still under development, so new abilities will be coming in the future. Stay tuned!
I have forwarded your suggestion internally to our team so they can take it into consideration. I suggest you join our Research and Beta Testing channel to be the first to know what's coming up next and for the chance to try out early versions of new and improved features we have lined up.

Hey Scott, thank you for pointing this out. I'm afraid for now it is expected, but it's an excellent feedback and I'll make sure to share with the team. Insights is still on Beta flag, so every feedback you can provide it's important for us to improve the feature.

Hi there,
Maybe I missed it, but is there a way to change the colours on the graphs?
I have a dashboard of column graphs and they are all green!
Thanks

There's not at the moment unfortunately. However, can you share with me how yours is looking like, how you'd like it to be and why that would mainly help you? I can then share those insights with our team

Hi Clarissa / Scott,
Thank you for the update and pointing it out! It would be great if we could assign colours for uniformity. Right now, I have multiple reports where value X is blue in the first and orange in the second (and value Y vice versa). It's a bit confusing when you see them in one dashboard.
Furthermore, great tool and really helpful.
Looking forward to the update!Nicole

This would be a very useful feature when reviewing reports...

I have exactly the same issue. For my divisional reports, Division 1 is blue, for the second report, Division 1 is green and so on.

Thank you, Collin!
Even though I am not sure there is a plan already to be able to custom assign colours to your Insights reports - I made sure to pass the feedback over to the product manager.
Thank you again,
Kind regards,
Vladimir

I have the same issue. Insights is always changing which makes it impossible to make comparison charts or requires just about the same amount of time altering it within Excel to get a finished result. Additionally, and what I find more problematic as shown below is that an entire chart can't fit on one page. This means you have to click the arrows to see the rest of the chart and then it changes the colors that are assigned from the first page event though it is the same chart. This is highly confusing. I hope this is something that is changed relatively soon as insights could be such a useful feature with just this change.
Orange here is mobile robots, even thought this is the same chart just one slide over

Hello @Stacey Nerz ,
Thank you so much for your detailed feedback. I understand where you are coming from, therefore, I will add this to the already existing feedback to give it more visibility internally!

Yes I have the same issue with insights. It makes it so much harder to extrapolate data.

Just another vote for making this possible, we have four pipelines all with the same stages and I'd love to see the same colours for each stage so we can compare apples with apples!

There should be a way in Insights to have the same segment be represented by the same color across reports. I realize this could get complex with allowing custom fields to be used in reports, but at a basic level, if ever segmenting by deal owner the deal owner should be the same color across reports (see screenshot). When they vary report by report, it can become very difficult to read a whole dashboard quickly.
Also, would be great if reports could be made color blind friendly - even if that was a toggle that could be turned on/off as needed.

Yeah, I would like to use brand colours + logo to make the dashboard look good on a flatscreen in the office

Oh yeah. I have a few weekly charts but it seems to default to showing the start of the year instead of the last 6 weeks or so and can't seem to change how it displays by default.

I see this question was asked last year, but I'm not seeing a resolution. Is there a way to change colors and to have them be consistent from one report to another? Thanks

Any update when this might be possible?
We have the same issue and its just confusing to have so many colours.0 -

Unfortunately, there's no ETA for this just yet but I will make sure to update our team that this is still a high priority for our users.
Thank you.

I endorse that request for the ability to change colors. It will be more than helpful: essential.
Thanks in advance.
Best regards

My team has been tracking the same set of data by using the same filters and criteria for each year. When we set the reports, they come with the different color of the segmentation each year. That's very confuse my team when we measure and compare the same data in different color each year. So, it will be super helpful we can select the color of the segmentation in report.

This would make the Insights really valuable - e.g. choosing a consistent color for clients that match their corporate brand, would make it easier to read across the charts. Equally, it would make sense to assign a range of colors to the pipeline, so that filtering a chart by Stage is easy to read. Currently, the random colors mean I have to check the legend for every chart to see what the colors mean.
