Email tracking for email campaigns?
Hi, I'm new here and wanted to know if there's the option of email campaigns/tracking with Pipedrive?

Email campaigns as in bulk email - no - through Autopilot or ActiveCampaign or other Marketing Automation platforms - yes. Every email you send through Pipedrive personally can be tracked and logged by selecting those options in the email window inside Pipedrive or withing Gmail (GSuite).

which platform do you suggest? anything free?
also would there be a way to transfer those leads back into pipedrive?

Free - probably not - there is a Free version of HubSpot but it is cobranded HubSpot as well. Most of those applications (Autopilot, ActiveCampaign) have bi-directional sync going on and will write back into PipeDrive and update Contacts and Deals including advancing Stages.
If you have data on Organizations you use for segmentation (e.g. address or metro area) then you need to move that onto the Contact record to be able to use it. Marketing Automation only brings in the Contact data.0 -
Take a look at this new merger between Pipedrive and Mailigen. It looks like this may be the answer to replace Mailchimp and keep everything in Pipedrive! We will be testing it today.

Very cool - good move for Pipedrive - add in the Ads and it becomes a full-feature CRM Marketing Automation platform. Do you know if Mailigen uses the Pipedrive Filters? We have contacts that we are not able to email market to because they are part of a solution we installed but the company does not want us marketing to them using their corporate email accounts. The filtering is exceptionally important.

You can manually create those campaigns and use the tracking feature in PIpedrive, but if you want to run a more sturdy email marketing I recommend you use our Mailigen feature, which integrates with Pipedrive.

I use Lemlist which has integrations into Pipedrive as well as do some additional tasks with Zapier. I can see how many and which emails are opened in Pipedrive. Pretty neat.

Hello Christopher! At the moment we cannot use Pipedrive filters directly, as Mailigen uses another technical approach called Segments, but you can sync Pipedrive contacs by filters and then use Filter names in Mailigen to create Segments for campaigns or automation sequences.

Christopher, if using Pipedrive filters is important for you, you may want to check out Outfunnel as well (currently one of the top-rated apps on the PD marketplace). We've gotten very positive feedback about our tight 2-way sync with Pipedrive.

I used Outfunnel a year or two ago with a client to connect to Mailchimp and run some campaigns - will take a look again - thanks @Andrus Purde

@Eli Glanz If you have your Gmail account synced to PIpedrive and you compose your email message from within Pipedrive, yes.
If you're composing your email directly in Gmail, then not at the moment. Check out this other thread about the same topic.

Hi @Chevy Karp the answer will be based on us knowing more of the use case. Although two platforms send email as part of the offering, that's just one thing we do or how we do it is different.
