Hi, I am Ambar, Product Manager at Pipedrive.

 

We are working on a cool idea for Hackathon in Pipedrive. Our idea is called client portal. Basically, salespeople or account managers can share files, notes, documents or invoices with their client. And clients can create an account in PD and see all the communication. 

 

Clients can also leave a note, upload documents or schedule a call with a salesperson. A place for salesperson and clients to collaborate. Any feedback, ideas and suggestions are welcome.

    We are working on this idea for a hackathon and discovered your post. I guess what you suggested is similar to this.

    We have something like this with our loan fulfillment software.  If you do this, it must be branded to the user, not PD.

    For me, having some of the existing features deepened would be better than having this as full-fledged new functionality. As an example, make Scheduler more customizable has more value than an entire customer portal, for which we also use our helpdesk software or sharepoint

    Hi @Ambar Raj   (@Ambar )

    This is an interesting function (and we already provide to our SaaS customers). 
    We have a bi-directional webhook integration between BrokrBindr and Pipedrive. It would be -really- great if your portal documents could be shuttled back and forth from Pipedrive to other applications via webhooks.
    Is that on your roadmap? What is the status of your project in early December 2020?

    This would be an awesome feature @Ambar - we're a tour operator & we're looking at other providers for this reason. Did you make any progres on this?

    Hi Ricky, We have it in our backlogs but no concrete plans as of now.
