Hi, 

We made a huge transformation in our quoting process, thank you Pipedrive for the boost! :)

This week we went Live with the quoting generation directly from Sales Documents, based on the information added in the deal products.

We have one marketing issue... Customers now only see the unit price with VAT and because many of them are companies (B2B), the liquid value is what matters to them to make the decicion and we are not showing it. 

In the end, it has a bad effect on who is reading it. When comparing it with a competitor quote that does not show the values with VAT. Example below:

Unit price should indicate net value without VAT

 

As example, Invoice software always shows the net value before and only after it shows the calculated total amount with VAT. I would call this "the standard" knowing that it is expected to see:

1 - net value

2 - VAT

3 - total value = net value + VAT

In the end, the root cause of this issue is not being possible to indicate a net value in the deals product.

Just hope Pipedrive can fix / improve this... Also, If anyone has a workaround or faces the same issues, please share! :)

    Is there any update to this issue? We really need this feature to work since the work around are really error prone currently and in our country we need to provide quotes with both prices (ex and including sales tax)

    Hi Guys, 

    we have the same issue 
    Someone find a solution to this or know if pipedrive team is developing some fixes? 
    I think it is very strange taking 1 year and still not develop an apparently very simple fix!

  • Is this already fixed? We are currently losing a lot of money because our customers think we are 20% more expensive. This is such an easy fix..

  • Hi Wesley, we have this issue since end of 2020 and it affects a lot the price perception by the customers. In our situation for Portugal it's even more, 23%, and this is for sure slowing down our sales.

    In the meanwhile we have been looking into other CRM solutions that can handle this in a better way, but because it is so hard to migrate all the CRM we did not decide to move away from Pipedrive yet. In case you find out a better CRM to handle this, please let me know.

  • We’re still waiting for that… there’s several requests in the community, but not even a response from Pipedrive! Very disappointing.
