Customize Product Fields in a Deal
Hi All,
Just wanted to put a quick note in to let you know that it would be amazing to be able to customize the product fields displayed when adding existing product to a deal. My company's products have enough variables that's it's hard to differentiate between products with the available fields (item, price, quantity, amount).

At the moment we have no further news about this, as priorities and resource allocations for development have to be distributed and unfortunately not everything can be built or at least built in the near future. That being said, we appreciate your input and use it to give our teams thinking points to be considered in the future.

really? Nothings been done with this basic function of adding a product to the available fields in "deals"? Hope I'm just missing it somewhere.

Yes, dearly need custom fields in products on a per deal basis. I find the whole product section a little clunky inside deals.
What a customer is buying/has bought I think needs a little more prominence than a text link saying "3 products".
Ability to add imagery (or an image url from Google Drive) at the deal level to each product to show what artwork they have approved would save our designers hours (we built our own software previously, so I'm not exaggerating when I say that products and smart docs is quite long-winded). The url/image field would electrify the usefullness of Smart Docs so we could send approvals.
