I can create custom tags/labels, but I can only use one label for each item. I'd like to be able to use multiple tags/labels on a single record.

+1. It's even stranger that you can have multiple in Leads but not in Orgs.

I was surprised that it's not possible to have multiple labels!

+1. I can't imagine this being so difficult to implement (as it's been done for "Leads"). Why should I as a customer start building a work around, especially for a requirement that is so simple to specify?

You have no idea of the financial impact labels in deals would have on the company. Huge difference in sales operations and marketing attribution.

+1 on this, would allow us to see if an org is a 'customer' and customer of our competitors, for which we will create labels e.g. 'Coinbase'.

I agree this needs to be supported. The suggestion to use a custom field doesn't work because an important function of labels/tags is that it's easy to add a label to multiple things at once. Those items may or may not have pre-existing labels that you don't want to overwrite but add in addition.

Hi there can we add a feature where we can add additional labels per contact?
Right now I am only able to add 1 label and it would be nice to add additional labels as well.

We've been using Pipedrive for over 5 years.
Multiple visual labels are fundamental now that we are expanding to a Customer sucess team in order not to acquire a second product.
Pipedrive please consider adding multiple labels to Deals/Orgs/Contacts/Leads

Hi @Jeferson Umezaki I am sure you have seen how tagging systems works. It is event used here in Community for sorting content.
"Labels" in Pipedrive look like tags (they have title and color) but they are not "Tags", because you can apply more of them to one record.
It's unbelievable that Pipedrive doesn't have a comprehensive tagging system in 2023. Everyone and everywhere has it. (Google has it, Microsoft has it, Trello, you also have it here in the Community) It's a standard for sorting content. Incomprehensible ignorance.

Which type you mean? Autocomplete? - no you cannot add multiple items. Multiselect? - no, you cannot add tags quickly, only in Settings. Other? Everything wrong.
It's not option, is hacking,... this is at most an attempt to supplement a fundamental function that the system lacks.

- You have to define it in advance, the hard way, in Settings.
- you can't color them,
- they don't appear on your cards (e.g. on Deal card in pipline),
- you can't work with them in reports (up to the Professional version)
- etc
As a new user of Pipedrive - I am shocked that tis is missing.
Tags (Labels if you wish) are simply brilliant and genius. Tags should be available everywhere, system-wide, without restrictions. I hope someone at Piperive realizes this soon.

Multiple labels/tags! on all content types (person, companies, lead, deals,..).

It doesn't matter what we call it: labels or tags (or keywords, pills or chips).
Tagging/labeling content is brilliantly simple and standardized way how to categorize, organize content. https://ui-patterns.com/patterns/Tag
Tags/labels can be almost always created on the fly without restrictions. Because they're not defined they support a more loose and free organization based on association. E.g. a deal about the iPhone 14 could be tagged with "news", "iPhone", "iPhone14", "smartphone", "iOS" and "apple".
There is always an option to add multiple tags/labels, otherwise it doesn't make sense.
Custom Fields won't help you.

@Túlio Abner de Lima thank you for interesting point. But is pretty surprising that change is only about Deals tags. Is it really like that? Sounds me unbelievable.
What about labels on People, Projects..and I don't know where all they're?

Just agreeing with this as it's been y years and PD still has not been able to add this feature. I have worked in other CRMs that aloowed multiple tags. Crucial need for this!!
