    We deal with Real Estate Brokers who obviously belong to their own company, but can be the main contact for various Organizations. To get around this I made an "Organization" custom field, for us I called it "Main Contact", so then that Broker can be connected to as many Organizations as needed.

    The issue still remains though, that if I do a filter under People, the Organizations that don't have an actual "Person" attached to them (because they are using a Broker), won't show up in the filter. To get around this I had to also create a "Person" custom field under the Broker that I can input the Organization and then make sure I include that column in the filter. It works, but it is a pain because if the Broker represents more than one Organization I have to create multiple custom fields (ie Tenant Rep 1, Tenant Rep 2 etc.).

    I have people who work for a company (possible client) and belong to a local association chapter (possible client). To help me I have created the chapter name and related information in the people section so I can sort on them. Klugy but works.

    Oh wow, I only realized now that this feature is missing. Many of our clients represent multiple companies... now we have to accept duplicates in our database. I am looking forward to an update on this feature

    We just migrated over to Pipedrive and its disappointing that this very basic and logical feature of most CRMs is not available in this product. Is this feature on the roadmap yet and is there an ETA on when it will be deployed?

    SBNYC, I just peeked and it seems this feature has become a requested requirement as far back a 03/2020 -- maybe farther in other threads, but that is as far as this goes. The answer to your question if this feature is on their roadmap is: not as far as we can tell which probably means 'No.'

    Kind of surprising this isn’t seen as a required core feature especially today as so many people are changing jobs. There’s no way to track this in Pipedrive? Crazy.

    This is a feature I would love. Freshsales and Hubspot have this.

    I am a member of a networking organisation and I use the custom field to assign the other organisation (the networking group name), however, the Freshworks and Hubspot features are so much better because you are able to see everyone connected to it in a list and able to contact them.

    Many of us require multiple organisations for the people we interact with.

    Please can we have this added.

    I just received an email from Hubspot and, with stiff competition out there, it's efforts like this that have companies leave existing platforms when they feel they are not being listened to -- like on this issue within this thread:

    Noticed you spoke with my colleague earlier this year and mentioned your team is leveraging Pipedrive (and possibly mailchimp?)

    Curious if your team is in love with Pipedrive or if you're considering alternatives for 2024?

    A ton of the other leaders I'm speaking with feel like they've outgrown the platform and are looking to make a change next year.

    Would it be a terrible idea to have a brief chat to understand how that relationship with Pipedrive is going and if HubSpot can support?

    I raised this recently with our Customer Success Manager. The response was:

    "I understand, I hope this will be released soon, but can't confirm if it will or when. I have stressed the importance of this and created a feature request and looped the product managers in as well."

    Although the CS person has probably done their best, I think that from this response we can assume that PipeDrive is not taking this feature request seriously, and if they've really only just created a feature request for it then that's shocking customer service given the age and size of this thread.

    Honestly, anyone looking here, please just go to Hubspot and save the pain. They listened to their customers and added this feature. If we started again that's who we'd go with.

    It is shocking that such a basic element of a CRm-system is constantly ignored by Pipedrive while they put time in features we don't need.

    Even at the Enterprise level, Pipedrive still doesn't offer features which are crucial to have in CRM systems. I agree there are many features in PD that serve a small segment of users and are quite useless. While ALL customer needs should be taken into consideration, Pipedrive has a ways to go to become a stronger competitor of the other CRMs in the market. Unfortunately, Pipedrive hasn't built a strong enough case for my company to switch to a higher level subscription. I'm beginning to wonder if Pipedrive is targeting a very specific niche market within the sales community and if this will be the right fit for us in the long term.

    So what do you need for us to provide so it can be prioritised?

    Is what everyone has listed enough or do you need other information? I know that seeing my clients in their networking groups is really important and Hubspot does that already as does Freshdesk. I am using Hubspot for that because it is easier to use and by syncing emails it updates the cards in Pipedrive. I shouldn't need to do that but it is a workaround that is necessary now because of the multiple organisations, people are connected to.

    Let us know what else needs to be provided so it can be prioritised please.

    We have relationships with consultants that work for different customer and prospects of us. So I need to attache those consultants to their own company and the companies they are working for. Sometimes they are working as a consultant for many months at the location of our customer. Besides the emailaddress these consultants have from their own company, they also have an emailaddress from the company they are working for. Therefore we sometimes need to mail them to their own emailaddress and sometimes to their emailaddress at the company they do consulting for. We send email campaigns from pipedrive to customers or to prospects or to consultancy companies. Because a consultant can only be attached to one company they never get the right email on the right emailaddress.

    I REALLY hope you can make this happen Pipedrive.

    For our growing business it's imperative that our CRM system allows us to tie multiple organisations to the same contact. And inversely, it's important that the same contact can be the lead "Person" at multiple "Organisations". 

    eg. Person X is the owner of 4 companies that we will be working with...but every time I add him as a person to the next company he gets kicked off the other one. This just won't work for many reasons. Mainly, accurate data entry. I currently cannot add the CEO to multiple companies we work with as they are already tied to another organisation, so Pipedrive is actually preventing me from accurate record-keeping. The very thing we were told you could help us with.

    Absolutely! Having a true relational database with the power and grace of Pipedrive would be worlds better. Every year, I think about leaving Pipedrive, but for the thought of this changing...

    We need to track relationships of consultants at our customers. One consultant works with many of our customers (organizations). In our case, these are specialists that work at many schools. A very common scenario.

    I appreciate you'd be going from 1-to-many to many-to-many. There will be quite a lot of technical and UX considerations, but it's hardly an uncommon scenario to deal with, and very achievable.

    Ask yourselves - in the real world, does this sort of many-to-many relationship between individuals and organizations happen a lot? Of course it does, it's incredibly common.

    I think you need to bite this bullet otherwise you are severely limiting your market, particularly in businesses of any complexity at all, and probably the ones with more money to spend with you.
